Sixty schools received certificates indicating that they had achieved the
KAMSA High Performing Schools Award.



Thirteen schools were awarded the status of "Exemplary Middle Schools of the Year. The group included: Augusta Middle School,
Dodge City Middle School, Fort Riley Middle School, Fredonia Middle School, Hillsboro Middle School, Hoisington Middle School,
Meade Junior High, Monticello Trails Middle School, Royster Middle School, Sabetha Middle School, Lawrence-Southwest Junior High,
Valley Center Middle School and Wamego Middle School.
