2011 BOD Picture

Kansas did quite well at the National Association of Middle School Principals Awards Ceremony in Denver, Colorado on Thursday, February 17, 2011.
The awards categories were in Junior High and in Middle School divisions. Marshall Junior High, Marshall Texas was named Junior High School of the Year. Olathe, KS, Chisholm Trail Junior High was awarded First Runner Up.
Dr. Bill Weber is the Principal of Chisholm Trail Junior High School and was a KAMSA Exemplary Principal in 2010.
The Middle School division winner was Ft. Lupton Middle School of Ft. Lupton, Colorado. Kansas Middle Schools claimed the next three runner up positions. Washburn Rural Middle School was the First Runner Up. Paola Middle School was named 2nd Runner Up, and Louisburg Middle School was 3rd Runner Up.

The awards were presented by Lifetouch National School Studios Executive, David Crandall and NAMSP Executive Director, Michael Hall who was the founder of KAMSA in the early 80's. KAMSA Executive Director, who was also in attendance, is NAMSP District Director.
